Strengthening Global Data on Attacks on Education
PEIC along with our partners GCPEA, UNESCO, and KoBo Toolbox our vision is to strengthen the collection, sharing, and visualization of data on attacks on education and education insecurity. War, conflict, and insecurity are no reasons to deprive individuals and communities of their right to safe, quality education. Our vision is to make accurate data available as a global public good to prevent and ensure justice; as well as to prevent future attacks and ensure that post-conflict societies can harness the power of education to build peace.
With the launch of the TRACE Data Portal (http://tracedataportal.org), journalists, policymakers, teachers, and advocates world-wide have an easily accessible source for accurate, timely and validated data on attacks on education globally.
